What will this blog be about? Stuff I like. What kind of stuff do I like? Records, CD’s, Cassettes (music in general, I suppose), audio gear, etc. I also collect a lot of other stuff. Think things like movie posters, autographs, rare books, games and so forth. So, you might be seeing some stuff about those things.
What kind of music do I like? A lot of stuff, but you’ll probably mostly hear me talking about Pink Floyd (and it’s various solo entities… big Roger Waters fan, I am.), Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, The Who, Peter Gabriel and so on. Probably also a lot about Library Music, specficially but not strictly limited to the De Wolfe Music Library (what’s that?) and movie soundtracks. Good chance I’ll mention a lot of horror films. Specifically George Romero and John Carpenter, but also a lot of stuff with unknown directors.
What is the goal of this blog? Not entirely sure. I guess it’s to make something a bit creative, show off a bit of my collection, and hopefully to spread some knoweldge about the relevant subjects at hand. Thinking about getting started in collecting vinyl or autographs but don’t really know where to begin? I’ll probably cover that. As best I can, at least.
